Key exchange for rentals
€19.99 excl. VAT a month to hold the set, then €5 incl. VAT per handover and per collection. Owners and agencies leave keys with us; guests collect them at the counter, seven days a week, without waiting on a doorstep.
Late check-out rescue
Checked out at ten with a train at seven? Drop everything here, come back any time before eight in the evening.
Between two rentals
Moving from an apartment inside the walls to a house in Paramé? We hold your bags during the gap, including overnight if you tell us at drop-off.

How a drop-off works

You arrive
Come in with your bags. No booking, no printed voucher, no app to install. A message on WhatsApp beforehand is welcome but never required.

We tag each item
Every bag gets a numbered tag and you get a photo receipt on your phone. We note the pick-up time you have in mind.

You collect
Show the receipt, pay by card or in cash, and you are back on the road. Collection takes about a minute.

A short walk from everything
Keydrop sits at 46 Bd de la République, 35400 Saint-Malo, on the wide boulevard that links the station to the old town. From the counter it is five minutes on foot to the platforms, ten to the ferry terminal for Jersey and the Channel Islands, and about fifteen minutes straight down to Porte Saint-Vincent and the ramparts.
That geography is the whole point of the place. You can land in Saint-Malo at nine in the morning, leave everything here, spend the day on the Grande Plage du Sillon or walking to the Fort National at low tide, and pick your bags up on the way back to the train.

Who is behind the counter
Run by a local concierge team
Keydrop is operated by Weekeys, the concierge company that looks after holiday rentals across Saint-Malo, Dinard and Dinan. Handing over keys and juggling arrival times is our daily job, which is exactly why this counter exists.
It also means the person taking your bag knows the town. Ask where to eat oysters without queueing, which beach is sheltered when the wind turns north-east, or when the tide will let you cross to the Grand Bé.

Do I need to book in advance?
No. Walk in during opening hours and we will find room for your bags. A quick message on WhatsApp before you arrive simply lets us know how many pieces to expect, which helps on busy summer afternoons.
How much does luggage storage cost in Saint-Malo?
5 EUR per item for the day, from 9am to 8pm. One flat rate, no hourly counting and no surcharge for a large suitcase, a pushchair or a surfboard bag.
How long can I leave my bags?
Anything from twenty minutes to a full day. If you need overnight storage between two stays, tell us when you drop off and we will keep your bags until the next morning.
Is my luggage insured?
Bags are kept in a locked room that only our staff can enter, and each item gets a numbered tag matched to a receipt on your phone. Cash, jewellery, laptops and medication should stay with you.
Can you hold the keys to my holiday rental?
Yes. Key holding costs €19.99 excl. VAT per month per property, then €5 incl. VAT each time we hand the keys to a guest and each time we take them back. The owner leaves the set with us once; the guest collects it at the counter with a name and a booking reference.
