Luggage storage in Saint-Malo

Clear pricing, whatever you are carrying
Most left luggage services charge by size, then again by the hour, and the final figure is a surprise. We keep it simple: 5 EUR per item for the day, whether you leave it for one hour or for eleven, and whether it is a cabin bag or a hard case that weighs more than the person carrying it.
Pushchairs, car seats, bike boxes, surfboard bags and golf bags all count as one item. If you are travelling as a family with five pieces between you, ask at the counter and we will price the lot in one go.

One rate per item per day, whatever the size of the bag and however long you leave it. Payment on collection, by card or in cash.
How your bags are kept
Bags go into a locked storage room behind the counter, not into a public corridor or a row of lockers on the pavement. Only staff go in.
Each item is tagged with a number that matches a receipt sent to your phone, so collection is quick even when someone else in your group comes back for the bags. We ask you to keep cash, documents, laptops, jewellery and medication with you, as they should be on any day out.

Guests between two rentals
Check-out at ten, check-in at four. The six hours in the middle are ours to look after while you have lunch in the Intra-Muros.
Ferry passengers
Sailings to Jersey, Guernsey and Portsmouth rarely match the rest of your day. Leave the cases here until boarding.
Walkers on the GR34
The coastal path is far better without a full pack. Leave the heavy load, walk to Pointe de la Varde and back, and collect it before eight.

How much does luggage storage cost in Saint-Malo?
5 EUR per item for the day, from 9am to 8pm. One flat rate, no hourly counting and no surcharge for a large suitcase, a pushchair or a surfboard bag.
How long can I leave my bags?
Anything from twenty minutes to a full day. If you need overnight storage between two stays, tell us when you drop off and we will keep your bags until the next morning.
Is my luggage insured?
Bags are kept in a locked room that only our staff can enter, and each item gets a numbered tag matched to a receipt on your phone. Cash, jewellery, laptops and medication should stay with you.
Can you hold the keys to my holiday rental?
Yes. Key holding costs €19.99 excl. VAT per month per property, then €5 incl. VAT each time we hand the keys to a guest and each time we take them back. The owner leaves the set with us once; the guest collects it at the counter with a name and a booking reference.

46 Bd de la République, 35400 Saint-Malo. It is a five minute walk from the train station and about fifteen minutes on foot from the walled city, straight down the boulevard.
